Hello my name is Marlon Bennett; I am from Bridgeport,Connecticut. I attended Bassick High School the home of the lions. There at
Bassick I was a part of the boy’s varsity basketball team and I was the captain
of the boy’s varsity baseball team. I received the Most Valuable Player award
in my conference championship game. I also was the top cross- country runner in
the city of Bridgeport. I haven’t had man jobs other than working for my dad in
his restoration service business. I’m now a freshman in college and I attend
Nichols College were I major in General Business. Here at Nichols I am a part
of the men’s basketball team and the school’s paintball club. I chose to attend
Nichols College because; it’s a small school that offers many things to their
students. I saw Nichols as great opportunity to expand my network and meet new
people. So far I’ve met a number of people that I hope to stay in touch with
after my four years at Nichols.
In digital application I plan on expanding my knowledge on
computers and building on my skill in Microsoft area. I plan on becoming more equipped
with Microsoft word and excel and power point.
As of right now I have a general knowledge of the computer’s and how to
use them but, I wish to know more about them.
My first blog ever is going to be on my favorite Athlete all-time Tom Brady. He was recently featured on the cover of the magazine Sport Illustrated. According too ESPNBoston.com Tom Brady being on the cover is a jinx. In the past its been proven that there is bad luck when a New England Patriot is featured on the cover of the magazine. Fans are now nervous because of the latest issue. Inside the magazine it talks about the patriots dedicating the season to the owner wife Myra Kraft and how important it is to win for her.
Hey Marlon, we have alot of things in common for example my high schools mascot was also a lion. We also like the same sports I loved playing baseball when I was younger and I play basketball with my friends in our free time. We also picked Nichols for the same reason because of it's small number of students and what they offer for us. Tom Brady is also my favorite athlete as well, and I am somewhat nervous now that he featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
