Both Verizon and Redbox are teaming up to battle Netflix to draw consumers away from Netflix. Netlix has recently been criticized because of the the lack of new content on there live streaming feed, whereas Redbox and Verizon offer a large amount of new titles. With the combination of RedBox and Verizon customers would be able to have a huge library of movies to select from either playing live or through a physical disk. This would be a great upset to Netflix who recently changed their format so that you have to pay for both the live streaming serviced and the mail in disk. I believe that the combination of Redbox and Verizon would be a huge detriment for netflix who would have to change their format once again to stop customers from leaving
