Over 3 years later, "deleted" Facebook photos are still online- CNN.com

Since 2009 Facebook has known aboput the current problem about "Deleted" photos still being on the website even though they were supposed to have been deleted. Even though they know about the problem since 2009 now in 2012 the problem still exists and is an issue. Becuase of the fact that pictures uploadeed to facebook contain a direct jpg file link pictures that are poseteed and then deleted still pose an issue after they have been deleted. Because facebook is using an operating system for photo uploading that was never fully functional, they are having a hard time fixing the problem. Although they say that they are close to having the problem fixed by transfering the entire "broken" system onto an entirely new fuctional operating system. Facebook officals are conviced that they can have the problem fixed so that photos that are removed would only remain in the system for 45 days.
Facebook has been dealing with this issue for a while now and i cant forsee them being able to fix the problem now if they havent been able to fix it in the last few years. Its rediculous that such a huge company cant figure out how to completley remove photos that people no longer want on their pages. Within the company when they realized that their operating system was not operationg correctly they should have fixed the problem immediatly, unfortunatly this is not the case and the problem still persists. Hopefully they are true to what they say and can actually fix the problem, or begin to fix the problem, otherwise i know that there will be many facebook users with alot of complaints, that im sure the company does not have the time for.
